The 1 reason Mr. Haider is known as a nerd, geek or as you may call it a ‘parhaku’ in his family is because he is not social.. Eh? And the 1 reason I am not social is because I usually never visit my uncles and family and the 1 reason for that is 1 question they always ask me.. and that is: WHAT have you thought about your future? WHAT are you going to do? WHAT work will you do and most importantly HOW much will you be PAID for that work..?
This is only because we worry about what a child will become tomorrow, and yet we forget that he is someone today. In reality we need to worry about this today more than anything else.
So whats next? I was fed up of everyone asking me this question I decided to have revenge with them by counter questioning them; before him asking me what have you thought about your future I will ask him that what did you do today my dear uncle? Because what you do today will decide what you will do tomorrow. And when I ask you this question you will think of a long list of tasks that you completed this day. But let’s simplify things by rephrasing this question and instead of asking what did you do today I’ll rather ask did you build something or break something?
Literally, did you build or did you break?
Did you build someone or break them down?
Did you build your own reputation through your action and your words or did you break your reputation?
And remember when I say breaking it doesn’t mean breaking toys the breaking I am referring to is breaking trust, breaking heart, breaking promises, breaking rules, breaking friendship, breaking relationship not with your girlfriend but with you work and your vision.
Please! Don’t break the above things if you can’t build them because it takes years to build trust, friendship, character and reputation and only seconds to destroy them.
So guys next time when someone like me asks you what did you do today... Wouldn’t it be nice to simply say I BUILT !
Thank You and Happy building.. :D :D
