The towns of Silent Hill and Arkham Asylum are real places!

Arkham Asylum is designed after a turn of the century insane asylum in Arkham, Massachusetts. The creepy, labyrinth-like hallways and patient rooms are sketched from the real deal. The Arkham Asylum comes for Batman and D.C. comic video games.
Silent Hill is an abandoned town that always has fog or mist covering it. It’s been made popular by video games and movies. It’s based on an old mining town called Centralia, Pennsylvania. The mine caught fire and the town was evacuated. Five decades later and the fire is still burning! The town of Centralia has sink holes and steam pits all over it!
Check out a video of people going through the town below
